The Frog and the Prince

Alizaye wrote a story about a frog and a prince.  Will the prince turn into a frog or will the frog turn into a princess?  What do you think?

Red and Black Day

On Friday we had our red and black day to support all the people in Christchurch who were affected by the  earthquake.

Our Garden

We have been doing some gardening over the last couple of weeks.  First we had to pull out all the old plants from the garden then we planted some vegetables and flowers.  It was a lot of work but we are happy with our new garden

Two little birds

Last week we read the poem two little dicky birds and we decided to paint pictures of what we thought the birds might look like.  We experimented with mixing the colours and it was a lot of fun.  Take a look at our video to see the results of our hard work and to listen to us reading the poem.



Fruit Kebabs

On Friday it was Miss Sinclair's last day in our class until she comes back in May.  As a farewell Miss Sinclair made fruit kebabs with us.  We made enough to share with A1 and A1 made chocolate sundaes for us.  It was a very fun day and everyone enjoyed the yummy food.  Thanks Miss Sinclair!

Today Rohit and Alizaye learnt how to comment on our blog.  They picked it up really quickly and left about six comments for the children in our class.  It was great seeing them work together to spell the words they needed.

  

Clowning around!

Last week we read the big book smarty pants. It's about a very clever clown and all the things he can do.   We decided to draw our own clowns and they look great! Take a look at the video to see our clowns and hear what they can do.   

Cupcake madness

Today we made cupcakes and they were yummy.  We worked together to add and mix all the ingredients then we iced cupcakes and ate them up in the playground.  Take a look at what we did.  

Two of the children wrote stories about the cupcakes.  Do you like cupcakes too?
