The Last Post

Hi everyone, this will be the last post on All Things Great and Small.  The children are moving on into year three classes and Miss Mac is going to be teaching at Tamaki Primary.  Miss Mac will be blogging with her new class when school begins in February, click here to access Room 11's blog.  Thanks to all our followers and supporters, we have enjoyed sharing our work with you all over the last three years.  

When Santa Got Stuck up the Chimney, by Tarik

Hi everyone. We are in Queenstown and its like paradise! Wally has been eating cherries. Arrow town is beautiful. We are at the Chinese settlement. It is very old.

Day 3 Ferry to South Island.

Beautiful mountains. Now we are in Hammer Springs. The hot pools are so much fun!

Day 2

Today we drove all the way from Rotorua to Wellington. It was soooo far! On the way we stopped to look at Huka Falls. It was amazing. Prim hung on tight to Wally in case he fell in. Tomorrow we cross over to the South Island. Loveday. xx

Thisis a falcon named Atareta.She lives at the Wing Span bird park in Rotorua. she sat on my hand!

Cultural Day

On Friday we had a cultural day.  Everyone could come to school dressed in their traditional cultural clothing and there were special activities on during the lunch breaks.  It was a great day and everyone looked amazing.

It's Sunday night and me and Prim and Wally are going to bed early because we have to get up early tomorrow to start our road trip. We are very excited . I will send pictures from all the places we visit whenever I can. Have a great day at school.   Loveday.
