Our puffer Fish

We have been working hard for about five weeks to make these wonderful puffer fish.  First we had to cover our balloons in layers and layers of newspaper and glue. After that we had to cover the balloon in white paper and wait for it to dry before we could begin painting it.  It's taken a long time but the results are great and all of the children are very proud of their fish.

Your puffer fish look great A3! Especially with the metallic paint you have used! You worked really hard to finish those fish by the end of the term - well done.

Dear Miss Mac, I love your picture trail. The puffer fish are stunning. Thank you for leaving a comment on our Grade 1 blog (http://grade1fishhoekprimary.blogspot.com. You asked how we made the whale on the field? The Grade R teacher who thought of the idea marked the field in the shape of the whale. She then told each class what colour T-shirt they should wear. Then, on the day, it all just happened! It was very exciting! We have a lot of whales in the sea around us at the moment. It seems to be their breeding time. Best wishes from Mrs Beal at Fish Hoek Primary in Cape Town
