Picasso Portraits

We have spent the last six weeks learning about portraits.  We have sketched a partner, taken portraits of each other with the digital camera and used paint on the computer to practice drawing our faces.  We looked at Picasso's portraits and we practiced drawing our faces without lifting our pen off the paper so that they would look like Picasso's work.  Then we learned about mixing colors and we have finally completed our pictures and they look great! Take a look at the slide show to see our completed work.

Wow! I am impressed with your art work. We have been drawing portraits as well. I love the colours you have used.
Keep up the great effort.

We liked the song and your art work. Some of the children have really thought about the colours that they have used to paint their potraits. Great work A3!

Your portraits look fantastic hanging up! I watched you working on your portraits, it was very tricky to draw your faces without lifting your pen off the paper. I really like the colours you have mixed to use on your paintings.
