We have spent the last few weeks making volcano pictures. First we painted the background using water, sponges and paint. Once it had dried we painted the volcano and used a scrubbing brush to flick black paint onto our pictures to create the ash. We then used cotton wool to make smoke and glued on black paper to make the rocks. Take a look at our slide show to see our finished work. Thanks to Ben Des Forges for taking the photos of the volcanoes for us.
Impressive art work A3. The flicked black paint is a great effect and must have been fun to do. It's volcanotastic!
ReplyDeleteIt was tricky keeping the paint off our uniform.
ReplyDeleteI liked Noelani's one because she drew the moon like a good circle.
ReplyDeleteI liked Jett's one because all the smoke was going to the rocks.
ReplyDeleteI liked Paavitr's one because his rock was almost going to hit the volcano.
ReplyDeleteI liked Loveday's because I like the way she put the smoke.
