Opening Ceremony, by Noelani

Noelani has written a story about the opening ceremony of the Rugby World Cup.  She has been practicing reading her stories onto the blog fluently and she has done a great job reading this story.

I know why the sea wasn't real, because the lights are just making it like the sea.

I liked how they made the boats into sharks.I liked the people on the boat.The fire works were in the sky and they were pretty.

I hope that you liked the singing. Did you? Did you watch the rugby? Did you watch Tonga vs New Zealand? Did you know that New Zealand won? I'm happy that they did!!!

Hi Noelani. I liked listening to your story. I know what you mean about the sea being confusing. It looked so real. I almost thought that they had put a big swimming pool in Eden Park!
